Cayenne Avon Interview

What was briefly your experience in Second Life?
Its an amazing place and i’m still descovering new things every day.
The creativity, people from all over the world coming together, you don’t even need to speak the same language beacuse you find ways to communicate. Was happy for a long time just to see other artists work, there are so many tallented people, and it inspires me very much.

When did you discover your artistic passion?
I’ts always been a part of my life, and I find new ways all the time to express myself.

Do you practice the art only in SL or in RL also ?
My artworks are started in RL, the paintings you see in SL comes from real drawings and paintings I make in RL and then continue to work on in Photoshop before brought in here.

Where do you scoop the inspiration for your works in SL?
My works are inspired from everything i see and hear and feel and think. I like visiting other artist openings beacuse i always take a little piece of inspiration with me.

What are the main features of your works?
Combining rl paintings and drawing with digital tecnique, building enviroments and sculptures, I also started experimenting with particles, light and sound.

Is there a theme or a key to the works you exhibit here in ArtEdLand?
Yes. I grew up having close to deep forrests were i spend many hours playing and discovering nature as a child. I always experienced trees as forrest as living and breathing, the older the forrest and trees are the more soul I felt it had, there are many beliefs about mystical creatures living in these forrest and one is the Dryad who is a tree nymph, that is a female spirit of a tree, the connection between the tree and nymph are so strong that if one dies the other dies too.

What is your prediction for the evolution of artistic languages in SL?
Only the imagination is the limit for what we can do.
